Pastor
Rick Vale |
Senior Pastor
Rev. Rick Vale has been working in the
Church-at-large since he was 15 years old when he
began playing the piano for his home church.
Since then he has served as Choir Director,
Associate and Senior Pastors, Communication
Director, Graphic Designer and Composer-In-Residence
in congregations from Seattle, Washington to
Indiana.
He has
served as Senior Pastor with Central since
March of 2007. |

Nancy Wood |
Youth Pastor
Christian Education
Director
Nancy comes
to Central with a rich, varied and "artistic"
history of working with all ages of children in
ministry. She has been the force behind
many large-scale ministries and artistic
programs for youth of all ages, in and around
Madison County for many years. Her
creative skills in teaching and mentoring within
a Christian and Arts-Focused context have
enabled her to use her abilities as a leader,
writer, editor, designer, teacher, speaker,
preacher, media and public relations consultant,
educational advisor and event planner.
Nancy is also a gifted grant-writer and has
secured monetary gifts in virtually every
organization she has been involved with. |

Dr. Randy Frieling |
Music Program
Director and Organist
Pianist Randall Frieling
maintains a busy schedule as a
performer and teacher. He
received his undergraduate
degree from Calvin College in
Grand Rapids and his Master's
Degree from the Indiana
University School of Music where
he studied with Michel Block and
Joseph Rezits. He completed his
Doctorate at Ball State
University studying with Pia
Sebastiani.
Frieling has
performed throughout the United
States, Russia, Finland, Sweden,
Spain, Switzerland, England and
Austria as a soloist and
accompanist. He has served as
the accompanist for the summer
program of the American Boy
Choir in Princeton, New Jersey
as well as the accompanist for
the Anderson University Chorale.
He has made concerto appearances
with the Anderson Symphony,
Carmel Symphony and Columbus Pro
Musica Orchestras. He has
perfored on PBS televised
broadcasts and was featured by
Indiana Public Radio on
Backstage Indiana.
After a
performance in Louisville,
Kentucky, internationally
renowned pianist Maurice Hinson
said, "Frieling is absolutely
superb...a formidable virtuoso
with a breadth of artistic
equipment that is used in the
most musical manner."
Frieling
is also a Professor of Music at
Anderson University where his
duties include teaching piano,
organ, class piano and
accompanying. |

Linda
Stacy |
Finance Secretary
Linda Stacy has
worked for Central Christian
Church since 1998 as our
Financial Secretary. From
February 2000 to March 2003, she
also doubled as our
Administrative Secretary. In
order to spend more time with
her husband, she now works
Monday and Tuesday as the
Financial Secretary.
Before she
came to Central, she worked for
Prudential Insurance for 31
years and was Associate Office
Manager for 19 years.
During her
leisure time, she enjoys bowling
in a senior league, camping and
doing volunteer work at her home
church in Pendleton.
Linda says, "I
have made a lot of good friends
at Central Christian Church." |

Cheryl Calder |
Office
Administrator
Cheryl was born into a
Disciples of Christ family and, beginning
with her great-grandparents, they were members of
Central Christian Cheryl holds life licenses to
direct
child care centers in
Texas,
Washington, and Indiana and has done so. In
Anderson she worked for
Madison Superior Court 2, Director of
Bronnenberg Home, and Director of Support Services
where she supervised the Children's Home, Blake
House for Girls, Boys Residential Unit, Juvenile
Detention Center, Counseling Services, Alternative
Education Center, and educational, medical, and food
service contracts. Cheryl continued her work in the
area of
child abuse and neglect as Director of Court
Improvement for the
State
Supreme Court of Wisconsin. For the past few
years, she has been a volunteer for several teams of
Central Christian and is delighted to be a part of
the office staff.
She has been our OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR since 2008. |
